Jill Cohen is an accomplished book publishing and brand marketing professional. Her thirty years of experience has focused on marketing through the publication of illustrated books. After a distinguished career in the industry’s most prestigious companies, Jill has built her agency into what is today considered the “home” for illustrated books.
Over the course of her career, Cohen held significant positions including:
President and Publisher of Conde Nast Books, Jill created the imprint that published books for all of the Conde Nast magazines including Gourmet, House & Garden, Self, Allure, Bon Appetit, GQ, Brides, Glamour and The New Yorker.
President, Random House Direct Marketing where Jill created multi-platform campaigns for authors including Suze Orman, Julia Child, Deepak Chopra and Martha Stewart.
QVC, Vice President New Business Development, Jill started QVC Publishing, and oversaw direct marketing programs in beauty and home.
Vice President and Publisher, Time Warner Book Group, Bulfinch Press publishing the work of Ansel Adams and Irving Penn, lifestyle brands including Bobbi Brown, Preston Bailey, cookbooks from Patrick O’Connell and Michael Mina and bestselling interior design books including those of Sills Huniford, Diamond & Baratta, Donghia and The New York Times book of Home Design.
In 2006, Jill founded Jill Cohen Associates, to work directly with authors and brands to convey their message through books and strategic marketing.
